 I asked my mom who scarlet looked like: me or micah (not emmit!)?  remember, mary ann spent an entire year + scanning photos....  she produced this picture. of her. Mary Ann Raustis circa 1950 and Scarlet Rae Taylor  7/14.

this kid's amazing. (but, really, what kid isn't?!) he can master a game within minutes. we've even had to implement an "only on the weekends" rule, he loves it that much.


as a side note: I ♡ that my mom doesn't care that I shoot AND post a video of her with color on her hair. (because I wouldn't care either)  I ♡ her!

emmit goes to gramma's

aunt dana celebrated her 40th birthday this past weekend for an adults only dinner  at club lucky which meant the 3 E's went to gramma's for the night.

emily got an american girl doll for her birthday this year. emmit and i were invited along to make a luncheon out of the experience. emmit really did love the doll store. we brought our little gorilla so we didn't have to walk out with a doll for emmit too ;) 

another sleepover

emmit had ANOTHER weekend with gramma! micah was launching derrick rose's new shoes with adidas on saturday and we were watching dudley the previous week so my Mom swooped in thursday evening for dinner, picked up dudley and emmit, and headed out to huntley. they watched mick's football game on saturday morning then drove to taylor's cheer competition, and finally ANOTHER movie night with some cousins!! wow- is this kid lucky!?!
