Our Trip to the Store

Emmit documented our trip to the store one day. Scarlet wanted to pull the wagon all by herself. I let her do it for a bit but then vetoed the idea thinking it would take a good portion of the evening just to accomplish a simple task. 

Flip-Flop/Cocoa-Pop

Emily just learned how to do this without a spotter! Ever since she got into gymnastics, she won't stay right side up  =~D

Last Minute Q Trip

 And then the night we arrive home from STL, Q comes into town (as well as my Dad and Ruth and  cousin, Jamie) just in time for one last farewell to My Grandma (Great Grandma, G.G.) who passed on 2 days later at the very well lived age of 91. 

 

Blackhawks Parade/Rally

I just happened to take a walk. I put Scarlet in the stroller and leashed up Titus. I decided I'd walk around Soldier Field to see the hubub. I strolled around the backside of the field and happened upon a spot nobody had thought about! So I stuck around for the parade. Titus, of course, got the most attention INCLUDING the assistant coach (Kitchen) from the first video. He pointed to me and says, "NICE DOG!" in which I reply, "THANK YOU." Because I had not planned this, I had to get video on only 10% battery. This is why the videos are so short.

Memorial Day Weekend

Butch and Linda came into town. We went to Maggie Daley Park. It was SOO crowded! Then stopped by Buckingham fountain bc they'd never seen it. And on Sunday we did the House of Blues Gospel Bruch. First time and it was so fun! Butch made it up on stage for the dance contest! (He didn't win- but he should have!!!)
