first day of kindergarten!

emmit LOVED his first day of school! he learned, you can't shout out; you have to raise your hand and you can't go to the bathroom while we're learning.  bottom caption: IT WAS AWESOME!

2nd day of kindergarten

 tuesdays is gym class day. he needs to wear a gym uniform on tuesdays. Ms Benitone shuffled some seats around because a few of the boys had "too much fun" on their first day. hahaha! better than tears!! below is emmit pointing out his new friend omar:  MOM- THIS IS THE GUY I WAS TELLING YOU WAS SO FUNNY.

here's a couple videos I never posted from the past 6 months or so...

coloring

emmit got mail the other day- from gramee and grandpa! they mailed him a picture they colored with his favorite things. in return, they sent out a couple of blank coloring pages for emmit to color for them, along with an envelope to mail back. he colored them promptly and the very next day emmit and micah rode bikes to the post office and mailed the envelope back to STL.

I laughed when I saw micah's note BOARD while visiting one day, I HAD to snap a picture. well, it's a good thing I did: someone about 40 inches high came over and erased the bottom portion of notes. 

eye exam for school

have you gotten an eye exam lately? the doc asked emmit to read the bottom line of the card and he did. then he showed me the bottom line: I couldn't even squint to read it.  he said that is normal. emmit passed with a BETTER THAN AVERAGE diagnosis!

preschool graduation

Q in town

quartana's came into town last minute and really only spent a day with us. we loved the visit no matter how long or short! ❤
