mommy/daddy weekend off
very short post this time. emmit was on vacation. micah had to work this whole weekend. i dropped emmit off at gramma's on thursday night. he spent the day with grandpa and half the day with ethan because he had a half day of school. (grandpa really got put to work!) gramma took the boys and met up with eva and emily for dinner which is then that eva decided to take emmit home with them. fast forward to sunday- that's when i drive out to elgin to pick up emmit, have lunch with the buenzows, and watch ethan's baseball game. i think this is a good chance where keith's blog will have more from this weekend...
thursday night we pull up to gramma's. the moon is nice and bright but covered with a thin layer of clouds. emmit asks WHAT'S THAT MOMMY? i reply IT'S THE MOON. he responds with IT'S DIRTY!

wisconsin dells
this past weekend we drive all the way up to the dells where they have this giant indoor waterpark and the kids find it more fun to play in the jacuzzi in the hotel room... it actually all worked out well because they had unseasonably cool weather up there this time so everything we planned had to be indoors. we stayed at CHULA VISTA and on our way home headed over to KALHARI for some dry indoor fun.
