micah asked if the directions read, "some assembly required?" in response to the 46 step assembly instructions. I double checked the box, in which it read, "adult assembly required."

emmit's tradition
notice the candles in both photographs. then note that emmit was sitting to ethan's left just below me. emmit ALWAYS blows out the candles. not just at ethan's party, at EVERY party. we sang "happy birthday" and while ethan was thinking about what to wish for.... too late! if you go back and watch the hanukkah video again you will noticed he was forewarned NOT to blow out the candles. silly us. we didn't think to remind him this time.
