Scene: midway airport. saturday evening. microsoft is doing a promo for windows that includes santa and photoshop. our flight is the 2nd to last flight of the night. airport is pretty empty. we arrive, have dinner, and settle in at the gate. emmit loves the moving walkways so micah and emmit venture out while i stay behind to keep track of our cattle call.  Act I: emmit sees santa and says I GO SAY HI. runs a b-line towards santa. (there's no line) they talk. a picture is taken. emmit is whisked away, then photo received. emmit proudly beams to daddy I GO SHOW SANTA!

we just got home from STL. we all had such a good time- especially emmit. we flew down. when we landed , i said WE'RE HERE. Emmit shouted IT'S GRAMEE TIME! and everyone around us giggled. butch and linda came into the airport to meet us and at the baggage claim we ran into a woman who said to linda WELL, YOU MUST BE GRAMEE...

winter wonderland at tilles park in st louis. they decorate 75 acres with over 1 million lights. you turn off the headlights and take a cruise. my dad would love this.
