here it is. finally. KC taylors spring break 2012. the ONE (good) day we had with them before the plague chewed us up and spit us out. as far as I know, julia was the only one struck down from that side. judging by the pictures below, it's not hard to see how easily emmit passed it on to only her.

insert flu here

I'm a little behind. we've had the flu. WE ALL HAD THE STOMACH FLU. gross. the KC taylors came into town monday. the weather was perfect! 70's and sunny. emmit got sick. tuesday I stayed home with him (we were off but stayed indoors). wednesday called into work b/c emmit was recovering. that afternoon micah comes home early from work, sick. shortly theresafter, word that julia threw-up. yay. now I'm doomed. thursday morning... it hits me. emmit was finally well, micah painstakingly walked emmit over to school so we could be miserable in bed together. friday micah returns to normal, emmit and micah go on with their lives while I remain down for the count all on top of the KC taylors feeling well enough to get in the car and return home. bon voyage, influenza.

new friends and a tree stump

at one point micah couldn't get over the fact that there was a whole playground here and these three boys just wanted to play with the tree stump. he thinks it was the city's ploy to not have to ever purchase new playground equipment- just chop down a tree every once in a while.
