ok, so i was just wandering through blogspot just now and came across this:

what is so cool, besides the drawings themselves, is that these drawings are done on a NINTENDO DS!  thanks, ian berry, i'm so inspired.  now if i could only draw.

both of the following posts are back from the fall.  micah plugged his iphone into my ipod charger and all his photos downloaded into my iphoto.  it reminded me of some older moments.  this first photo i thought i'd publish before he realizes how awful his parents really are.

weekend get-a-way

this weekend we went up to the wisconsin dells with the buenzows.  i hadn't been up there since i've been a kid.  wow, how things change.  indoor waterparks?!  (plural!)  i would have never imagined this-  with my own son, niece, and, nephew.  F-U-N

frisbees become the latest in headwear.  (the kids' dinners came served on these.)  and mr couture, as seen here, starting the craze.  after dinner we boarded the shuttle again.  emily and emmit are still spotted with their frisbees.  the last photo in this series captures emmit getting upset because the door was all glass.  you could see everything from the asphalt below us to the moon above us.  the pout on his face needs no caption but the worry on emily's face needs some attention.
