last weekend we met the taylors half-way. we jumped in the car sunday morning and drove 2 hours to bloomington-normal. like i said, perfectly half way between st. louis and chicago. gramee and pops decided they needed a night away and made a quick weekend out of the trip. ours was made as a day trip. we met them at their hotel, went to lunch, onto the park, and finally a stop for ice cream. it was a GREAT day! sorry to say family- the reason for our trip- to bring a car load of baby stuff to donate away to linda's needy moms' charity that she works for.
