yesterday i wanted to take emmit to see santa on state street. i tried to get us both up and ready "early." i also thought it would be easier to take the underground. well, you know how that goes. all i have to offer is, the monroe station doesn't have an elevator for the stroller and ALL their escalators were out of service. no, i did not turn around and go home nor did anyone offer to help me carry my 25 lbs stroller WITH my 25 lbs boy up 2 flights of stairs. i then schlepped up 5 more stories, at least this time in an elevator, only to see the line for santa wrapped around the children's dept. at 10:30 am? done. went home. so i tried again today doing everything the exact opposite of yesterday.
