sick day

wed before vacation was a sick day :(  emmit threw up his breakfast yet still insisted on going to school. he laid down at the foot of his bed while I picked out his clothes and before I knew it, he fell asleep. so I called off work. he slept exactly like this for 2.5 hours. then I made him crawl into my bed and watch tv with me. (you knew he didn't feel well if he watched 2 hours of million dollar listing w/o complaints.) then we moved downstairs to the couch and I turned on cartoons. when micah got home the very first thing out of emmit's mouth was DAD, I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING BUT WATCH TV TODAY. for any other kid it would have been a great day. my kid thinks it was some kind of punishment.
